Steve and I joined a group of my co-workers from E-Comm for a weekend camping trip to Harrison Lake. Most of the E-Comm crew arrived a day before we did (Steve had to work on the first day), so there doesn’t appear to be many people there from what is shown on the video, [...] Here is our trip across to Vancouver Island. We are getting ready to head out for Gabriola Island so this is the cabin of our boat crammed full of all our gear (and bikes). I dont know where well be sitting for dinner, but I guess well pass that hurdle when we get hungry. Wish us luck, we will be crossing over to Nanaimo [...] We put our boat in the water today. Wahoo!! #gallery-1 { This year we decided to go check out the VanDusen Garden. We found the various light displays would turn off and on in various patterns based on the beat of some music that was playing. Here are some of our photos: This is just our little Christmas tree. I sent Steve out into the snow-bound world of the lower mainland to get some last minute groceries for our Christmas dinner. He trudged through thick wet snow to the Safeway about 8 blocks away and saved our dinner. Then we went for a Christmas day stroll together to see what was what [...] Amazing Caterpillar Loader wheelie. Christmas came early at the Walker-Hunt household. We got our first robot. See the video for a demonstration. Steve is now slightly concerned about whether it will become self-aware and terminate us. |
