The disembarkment ramps at the cruise ship dock were broken, so this is the only way we could get off the ship.
Okay, so really, this is the water park in Palm Springs.

Wel, we finally arrived in Los Angeles. The video below shows a few highlights of our time on the ship. Our next adventure will be in Disneyland, then on to Palm Springs. Managed to find an internet connection (”50 times faster than dial-up”) but boy dial-up sure must be crappy in the States because [...] So there is no Internet access on the boat because it’s broken. We are at the outermost reaches of cellular service as we cruise down the coast. Our stateroom is lovely and quiet and we are enjoying the spaciousness and the 2 TVs. The signal strength bars are diminishing as I write this, so this [...] The nice thing about taking a cruise to your destination is that you can let someone else (the Captain?) worry about getting you there. That would also allow one to sit by the pool drinking beer. Hurrah!
